• A member of ASCAP (American Society of Composers Authors and Publishers) and a recipient of an ASCAP Plus Award for five years in a row.

• Television stations such as the Hallmark Channel and Inspiration Network have aired Denise's music.

• Other awards and honors include An Outstanding Achievement in Songwriting Award in The Great American Song Contest and inclusion of a gospel composition on an NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International) issued compilation CD.

• M.S. in Education and coursework in voice, music theory, song writing, piano and guitar.

• Over 15 years experience as an educator in public and private school settings.
